ABF Hosts Second Annual Event

The Avery Burton Foundation hosted our 2nd annual Hike n’ Heal community event.

We are working to raise awareness with teens, adults and families coping with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and trauma.

A group of about 30 walkers and hikers of all ages walked our Hike and Heal Event on Saturday, November 26th in support of  Mental Health Awareness at the Historic Railroad Tunnels Trail in Boulder City, NV.

A special shout out to our food sponsors, who donated lunch and water; The Chef Jeff Project, RB Group, ARANA Software and Don’t Cheat Your Greatness.

It turned out to be an awesome day to walk with Lake Mead as a backdrop on this historic trail of 5 miles.

Thanks to all who participated in behalf of raising awareness of Mental Health Issues in our community

EVENT: May 1st, 2022 - Run For Rice & Walk for Wellness

The Run for Rice & Walk for Wellness is ACDC’s first annual charity walk to raise funds for the opening of the HAPI Medical Center and continued food distribution efforts was a huge success.

$5,596 was raised VIA 44 FUNDRAISERS & 114 DONORS – the goal was to raise $5,000.

The Avery Burton Foundation had a team participate, as well as a booth and we raised $80.
There were food trucks, vendors, dancing, a taiko drum performance, and support from local government officials.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table and donated to support our team!
